We can provide training to support your work or studies. Training sessions can take place on a one-to-one basis and can be held in the workplace or your local Healthcare Library. They can be tailored according to your skills level and interests.

Finding information and literature with your NHS Library is an introduction to library services and resources that are available along with a demonstration on how to search the Knowledge Hub effectively to find literature.
The Beginner's guide to Critical Thinking session is an introduction that will give a basic understanding of critical appraisal Including what it is, checklists and signposting further useful resources.
Library drop in sessions

LIbrary drop in sessions are available via Teams - this will cover how to create an OpenAthens account, how to use the Knowledge Hub, how to download your journal articles or access ebooks; and anything else you need to know.
Dates and links are available below, please contact the library team if you have a query. The drop ins are available for an hour - you do not need to stay that long - pop in, ask your questions and get the answer before popping out again!
