Reservations

There are two ways to make a reservation.

If the copy of the book is on loan at your home library you can reserve it by logging into the SWIMS catalogue. Log in with your library card number and then search for the title. Click on Reserve a copy at the bottom of the screen.

If the a copy of the book is at another library and is on loan please contact your local Healthcare Library.

Inter-library loans

You can use the SWIMS catalogue to check which books are available across the South Central and South West regions. Core members can request books from other NHS libraries using the Make a request forms. If you require a book that is not on the SWIMS catalogue, we may be able to borrow a copy from another library.  Please complete the Make a request form giving as much detail as possible.

Students should contact their University if they would like a book which is not available from their Healthcare Library or their University Library.
